Our Mission & Vision

Our mission is to empower underserved youth in Honduras by equipping them with comprehensive technical education, language proficiency, and computer skills, facilitating their entry into the modern workforce and fostering a sustainable, green economy.

Our vision is to cultivate a future where every young individual in our community, regardless of their background, has access to quality technical education, enabling them to become skilled professionals driving innovation, sustainability, and prosperity within their communities and beyond.

Where We Work

We’re based in the city of El Progreso, located in the Yoro department of Honduras.

Currently, our Pilot Program is being hosted at Instituto Perla del Ulua, the public high school in El Progreso city.

Our Programs

We’ve launched our first project, an eight-month English language Pilot Program for high school seniors!

Thanks to the success of the ongoing Pilot Program, we’re moving forward with preparations for our long-term project, the Smart Tech School. This three-year intensive will equip students with the English language and computer literacy skills needed to confidently enter the workforce.

As a pastor, educator, and visionary, he exemplified two fundamental principles: that God and people matter. Throughout his life, William remained dedicated to the fields of ministry and education, recognizing the transformative power of education as an equalizer across racial, economic, and social backgrounds.

Central to William’s belief system was the notion that education is a cornerstone for societal advancement, capable of bridging gaps and empowering individuals irrespective of their circumstances. It is upon this foundational belief that the organization bearing his name was established.

The ultimate goal of the William Galloway Foundation is to ensure that all children, regardless of their economic or social status, have access to quality education. William firmly believed that education not only benefits the individual but uplifts families, strengthens communities, and lays the groundwork for future generations.

Driven by a deep sense of purpose and commitment to social justice, William Galloway dedicated his life’s work to creating a more equitable and inclusive society through education.
